Methwold Nursery School is accessible to all families.

All non funded places booked by parents/carers must be secured by paying a non-refundable registration fee of £45.   However, if you register your child into nursery when they are entitled Funding then you do not have to pay a registration fee.

Fees are due monthly in advance and are payable on the 28th day of each month.

Fees are calculated on a Term by Term basis and you will be given a monthly payment plan.

We are open for 38 weeks of the year in line with Norfolk County Council term dates.  You can access a copy of their academic calendars through Google.  We are closed for all Public Holidays, should your child attend nursery on a Public Holiday then you will not be charged.

Our preferred method of payment is by standing order or on-line banking.   However, should you prefer an alternative method of payment this must be agreed with management prior to your child starting nursery.

We accept child care vouchers through a number of organisations and are registered with HMRC for the Tax-Free Childcare scheme.  You will need to enter your information to find out if you are eligible.  This will be on GOV.UK

A full set of Terms and Conditions will be supplied with our Registration Pack.  Our registration pack includes a legally binding contract and we advise you to take copies of all the paperwork before      returning it to Nursery.

Funded Children.

2 Year Olds:  You will be contacted by your Local Authority if you are eligible for the 2 year old funding which is based on your financial circumstances or you can contact them on 0344 800 8020.

3 and 4 year olds:  All are automatically entitled to 15 hours per week Early Years Local Authority Funding from the term after their 3rd Birthday.  There are three academic Terms:

Autumn 1st September—31 December

Spring   1st January—31st March

Summer 1st April—31st August

Therefore, if your child turns 3 on the 2nd of April, unfortunately they will not qualify for funding until the Autumn period.

Extended Free Entitlement—30 Hours:  You will need to go to GOV.UK to see if you are eligible for the 30 hours.  This is based on your financial circumstances.  If you are eligible you will be given a ’voucher code’ that you must provide to us.  This has to be reviewed every three months.

We require that children attend the nursery for a minimum of  2  x  3 hour sessions per week.  One months written notice is required  to change your hours or withdraw your child.

If you have any extra sessions or lunches during a month you will be charged separately.

Fees paid in advance will not be refunded if you withdraw your child without one month's notice, if your child is off sick or taken out of the setting for holidays.

In the unlikely event that the Nursery is closed due to unforeseeable circumstances then you may be offered a make-up session subject to availability.

Where possible the waiting list will be operated on a first come, first placed basis’ the exceptions are:

· Children already in attendance requiring additional needs.

· An older sibling already attending the nursery.

· The placement fits in with times and sessions available.

Families will be contacted as soon as required sessions / places  become available.
