Methwold Nursery School Ltd

learning    through play!

When registering with OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education) I made the comment that I was  passionate and paranoid about all aspects of the Nursery!  Their  response to me was ‘the day you don’t feel any of those things is the day you should not be in child care’!   I am pleased to report that I feel as passionate and committed as I did back in 2006 when I first started trading!

Over the years I have tried to create a nursery setting that I would want to send my children to; clean, modern, welcoming and homely.  Whilst having the best setting is important, having the right staff is paramount!  With this in mind, I am very fortunate to have an exceptional team of highly dedicated Nursery Practitioners who have all been with me for many years.  It is because of “my team” that I am proud to say our excellent reputation precedes us with many enquiries coming from referrals.

I appreciate that there is a lot of information for you to read in this Prospectus, but I would never          underestimate the importance of choosing the right setting for you and your child, therefore, I have tried to give you all the information you will need to help you with your choice.  Every Parent/ Carer’s needs are different and obviously we would always recommend that you and your child visit us, and meet the people who will contribute to your child’s development and future life.  Once you have visited the Nursery I am confident that you will feel happy in placing your child into our care.  However, you are under no obligation and I would always welcome your comments and feed back.

My priority is the same as yours!  That is to ensure that your child feels safe and happy in our Nursery in order for them to flourish into confident individuals.

Happy Reading!

Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfil their potential.           A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances.  A  secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right, and it provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.  When parents choose to use early years services they want to know that the provision will keep their      children safe and help them to thrive.  The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the framework that provides that assurance”.
